Our Commitment to Professional Partnerships

High Criteria, Inc., the developer of Liberty Recording, values the relationships we have established with our dealers, resellers, and business partners.

Our partner network plays an essential role in delivering reliable recording, conferencing, and transcription solutions to courts, government agencies, and other organizations around the world.

We recognize that competition is a natural and healthy part of doing business. Customers benefit from having choices, and we encourage our partners to distinguish themselves through product knowledge, technical expertise, customer service, and the value they provide.

At the same time, we believe that competition should be conducted with professionalism, integrity, and respect for the customer.

The following principles outline our expectations for organizations representing Liberty Recording products and solutions.

1. Fair and Ethical Competition

Liberty Recording supports fair and open competition among its authorized dealers and resellers.

Partners are free to pursue new business opportunities, respond to customer inquiries, and compete for existing customer relationships through legitimate business practices.

We do not consider a customer relationship to be the exclusive property of any dealer or reseller solely because that organization previously supplied or supported Liberty Recording products.

Customers retain the right to select their preferred service provider, subject to any existing contractual obligations.

We encourage partners to compete on the strength of their own capabilities, rather than through efforts to undermine the reputation or relationships of another provider.

2. Honest and Accurate Representation

All Liberty Recording partners are expected to communicate truthfully and accurately when discussing Liberty products, services, licensing, technical support, and business relationships.

Partners should not knowingly make false or misleading statements concerning:

  • Another dealer's authorization or standing with Liberty Recording.
  • The availability, quality, or continuity of support provided by another dealer.
  • A customer's eligibility for software updates, licensing, technical assistance, or continued product use.
  • Another dealer's ability to sell, install, maintain, or support Liberty Recording products.
  • The existence of exclusive sales territories, customer assignments, or other special privileges.
  • Liberty Recording's endorsement of, preference for, or relationship with a particular dealer.

Partners must not imply that a customer is required to change service providers to retain access to Liberty Recording products, updates, or support unless such a requirement is factually accurate and applicable to that customer's circumstances.

Legitimate, substantiated comparisons of service offerings, pricing, and capabilities are acceptable. Deliberate misinformation, deceptive sales practices, and unsupported claims intended to create fear or uncertainty are not.

3. Respect for Existing Customer Relationships

We recognize the time, resources, and expertise that our partners invest in developing and maintaining customer relationships.

While these relationships do not establish exclusive account ownership, we encourage all partners to conduct competitive outreach responsibly.

Partners should respect existing contractual obligations and refrain from fraudulent, deceptive, or otherwise unlawful conduct intended to interfere with another organization's contractual relationships.

This expectation does not prohibit competitive solicitation, responding to customer-initiated inquiries, or offering alternative services to customers who are considering a change in providers.

Our priority is ensuring that customers can make informed decisions without being subjected to misinformation, intimidation, or unnecessary uncertainty about their Liberty Recording systems.

4. Customer Confidence and Brand Integrity

Courts and government agencies depend on Liberty Recording solutions to support critical daily operations.

For that reason, inaccurate claims about product reliability, software licensing, technical support, or the status of another authorized provider can have consequences that extend beyond an individual sales opportunity.

We expect our partners to avoid practices that unnecessarily undermine customer confidence in Liberty Recording products or services.

Concerns regarding a customer's existing implementation, service quality, or technical support should be communicated accurately, professionally, and with appropriate supporting information.

No dealer or reseller is authorized to make representations on behalf of High Criteria, Inc. concerning another partner's standing, authorization, or commercial relationship unless expressly authorized to do so.

5. Independent Business Relationships and Dispute Resolution

Liberty Recording dealers and resellers are independent businesses responsible for their own commercial activities, customer relationships, and contractual commitments.

High Criteria, Inc. does not serve as an arbitrator or mediator for commercial disputes between dealers or resellers.

This includes disputes involving customer solicitation, account ownership, competitive pricing, sales territories, service agreements, or other matters arising from competition between independent businesses.

Such disputes should be addressed directly between the parties involved or through appropriate contractual or legal channels.

High Criteria, Inc. is not obligated to investigate, resolve, or make determinations regarding competing claims between dealers or resellers.

However, where credible information raises concerns about material misrepresentations involving Liberty Recording products, policies, authorization, or brand identity, High Criteria, Inc. may independently review those concerns for the limited purpose of protecting its own business interests and customer relationships.

Any such review does not constitute mediation or a determination of the rights or liabilities of the parties involved.

6. Partner Accountability

High Criteria, Inc. values long-term relationships with partners who demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

When credible concerns arise regarding a partner's representation of Liberty Recording products or business relationships, we may evaluate the circumstances and determine whether any action is appropriate within our own partner program.

Depending on the circumstances and subject to applicable agreements and law, this may include communicating our concerns, requesting corrective action, reconsidering future commercial opportunities, or reviewing the partner's continued participation in the program.

High Criteria, Inc. retains discretion regarding whether and how to address such matters and does not undertake an obligation to investigate or resolve every complaint.

Our goal is not to regulate competition, but to protect the integrity of the Liberty Recording brand and the confidence our customers place in our solutions.

7. Relationship to Existing Agreements

This Code of Conduct is a statement of High Criteria, Inc.'s general expectations for professional conduct within the Liberty Recording partner network.

It is not intended to create exclusive territories, assign ownership of customer accounts, restrict lawful competition, or establish a mandatory dispute-resolution process.

This Code does not amend, supersede, or replace any existing written distribution, reseller, dealer, or other commercial agreement with High Criteria, Inc. Where a written agreement governs the relationship between the parties, that agreement controls.

Publication of this Code does not, by itself, create new contractual obligations, remedies, or enforcement rights.

8. Our Shared Responsibility

The strength of the Liberty Recording partner network depends on more than the quality of our technology. It also depends on the professionalism of the organizations representing it.

We believe healthy competition encourages innovation, improves customer service, and strengthens the industry.

By competing fairly, communicating honestly, and respecting the customer's right to choose, our partners help ensure that Liberty Recording remains a trusted solution for the organizations that depend on it.
