How to Enable BusyLight Support in Liberty Recorder
To enable BusyLight UC Omega support, courts must:
- Install Liberty Helper Service (LHS) – The BusyLight device must be connected via USB to the computer running LHS.
- Enable "Room Profiles" – The courtroom name must be specified in the Liberty Recorder options.
- Enable External Device Support – In Recorder options > Recording tab > External Devices, select "Use External Devices".
- Configure the LHS with the same courtroom name – Ensures correct BusyLight behavior for each room.
- Install the BusyLight Support Package – Download and extract the BusyLightReg_NET4.zip package (see Downloads).
- Run the registration file – Execute reg_busylight.bat as Admin to complete the setup.
